How to export and import OCEAN test results
OCEAN compatibility and team reports work by comparing two or more OCEAN personality test results side by side. That means everyone involved needs to have their results in the same account. Since each person takes the test on their own account, the export/import feature lets you bring multiple results together.
Why you'd want to do this
Suppose you and your business partner both take the OCEAN test separately. You each have your own account with your own results. To generate a compatibility report comparing your two results, one of you needs both sets of results in the same account.
The same applies to teams: if five people take the test individually, the team leader can import all five results into their account to run a team dynamics report.
How to export your result
Unlock your extended result
From your dashboard, click "Unlock" on the test result you want to share. This generates your full 30-facet result. (If you've already unlocked it, you'll see "View report" instead.)
Find the export link
Open your extended result by clicking "View report." At the bottom of the page, you'll see an "Export to share" field containing a long URL. This URL encodes all 35 of your scores (5 domains + 30 facets) but no personal information.
Share the link
Click the URL to select it, copy it, and send it to the person who will be generating the report. You can share it over email, text, Slack, or any other channel. The link contains only your percentile scores, not your name, email, or answers.
How to import someone else's result
Open the link
Click or paste the export link you received. You need to be signed in to your OCEAN account. The "Import a result" page will open with all 35 score fields pre-filled.
Add a name
After importing, go to your dashboard and click the name field for the new result. Give it a label you'll recognize (e.g., the person's name or role). This is how you'll identify results when selecting them for reports.
Generate a report
Once you have two or more results with extended profiles unlocked (either from a real test or imported), click "Generate a compatibility report" on your dashboard. Select the two results you want to compare and proceed to checkout.

What data is included in the export link?
Only your 35 percentile scores: 5 domain scores and 30 facet scores. No name, email, answers, or account information is included.
Can someone use my export link to access my account?
No. The link contains only scores. It cannot be used to sign in, view your dashboard, or access any other data in your account.
Do I need to unlock my extended result before exporting?
Yes. The export link only appears on the extended result page, which includes all 30 facet scores. The free domain-only result cannot be exported because reports require the full 30-facet profile.
Can I import the same result into multiple accounts?
Yes. The export link can be used as many times as needed. Each person who opens it gets their own copy of the result in their account.
Can I edit an imported result?
You can edit the name and email labels, but the scores themselves cannot be changed. This ensures reports are based on the original test data. If you need to remove an imported result, you can delete it from your dashboard.
